Annie sepia poster-FINAL

This is just a reminder that Big Annie’s induction ceremony into Labor’s International Hall of Fame will be at 7:oo PM tonight at the Calumet Visitor Center, part of the Keweenaw National Historical Park. Nominated for her contributions during the 1913 copper strike, Annie will be one of three women inducted into the hall of fame in the 2013 induction group.  Coming just a few days after the 100th anniversary of the start of the strike, this event is open to the public and will serve as a wonderful way to kickoff the centenntial celebrations of the copper miners’ strike. A reception will follow the ceremony. This event is free and open to the public.
